The value of Black life 04/05 by SaYWorD Radio | Blog Talk Radio

Live Tonight 8pm EST
Trayvon, the martyr, is what people will call him. The death of Trayvon has electrified not just his family, community, or race. All around the world there are sympathizers of his killing. Supports are from California to New York – Florida to Europe and beyond – all posing the same questions: Why did this have to happen? How could he still be free?  When is Zimmerman going to be arrested?
Trayvon’s death and those like him whom passed typically had a silent voice and their senseless deaths remained in the dark.  As an American’s right, there is an illusion that everyone gets a thorough investigation, due process and equal justice.

Since the death of Trayvon, similar stories are being exposed everyday…. Sadly, IN ALMOST EVERY INCIDENT, THE KILLERS ARE STILL WALKING FREE (five within the last month)
So, the question is? What is the value of a black life?

Last week our discussion was “When Is Enough-Enough?” You’re reading this on Facebook, Twitter, and via email. You listen to it in the news, but what are you going to do about it? What can “WE” collectively, you included, do about it?

The conversation is going to be had this Tonight, April 5th @ 8-10 p.m
Listen live @ www.sayword.us or straight from your phone at 714-364-4720. Please call in and comment!
