James brown said " Said it loud, I'm black and I'm proud." But how proud should we be? Our communities are in shambles, single black mothers are on the rise and we're at an all time high in unemployment. We know our history as Black Americans but What about our future? We need to grasp the issues that are taking place in our communities, with our children and the issues we have with one another. We can not sit by and wait for anyone to help us do anything that would promote or change our situations. Yet we must depend on one another to start the building blocks, not only for the current generations, but for many more generations to come. Things must change and we need to talk about it.
